Mr. Taff is President of the Illinois Region for SOS Security.   He was previously Chief Executive Officer and Principal for Premier Security and Apex3 Security.    He has been involved with the security industry for the past 30 years.   Mr. Taff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa.  He is among a select few security industry executives who have been awarded the designation of "Certified Protection Professional" (CPP) by the Professional Certification Board of ASIS International.  He is licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) as a Private Security Contractor and Private Detective.

Mr. Taff is a past winner of the Gold Circle Affiliate Member of the Year by BOMA Chicago and the Lindbergh Bell Security Executive of the Year Award.  He is a former Chairman of the Security Services Council of ASIS International, currently serves on the Board Member of the Illinois Security Professionals Association and is a Board Member of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.  Mr. Taff has authored several security articles and is a recognized expert in the security field.
