Elizabeth Moslander

The award is named after Lindberg Bell, the founding father of our organization, which he formed in 1961.

Elizabeth is a highly qualified certified protection professional with a career background in corporate security, loss prevention, safety and risk management.  With over 25 years in the security profession, Elizabeth exemplifies a true security leader.  She mirrors the commitment, dedication, and cause to help women and men of all ages prepare for a career in security.  She was one of the founding members of the ASIS North Shore Chapter’s CPP Study Group that began in 2005 and continued for four years.  The group’s success rate for first time CPP exam testing was an outstanding 93%.  In addition to this, Elizabeth held various roles of responsibility over the 17-plus years of chapter membership, including multiple years as Chapter Chair and Treasurer.  She was also the Chairperson of ASIS’s Seminars & Exhibits Committee for the 2014 annual meeting in Chicago and is currently Secretary of the ASIS Women in Security.  She was appointed after receiving many commendations for her demonstrated leadership and commitment to excellence.  Elizabeth takes her passion to empower women into the community by participating and coaching Girls On the Run (GOTR).  The program builds self-esteem and other critical skills sets with young girls ages 8 – 11 and teaches them how to conduct themselves in the world.  

Elizabeth serves as a role model to security professionals and those who aspire to be such.
