Ernie Kuhnke - Bio

Ernie Kuhnke is a security professional with over 16 years of combined experience in the military, loss prevention, and the security industry. Ernie currently works for Cox Security as their Security Operations Manager. Prior to Cox Security, Ernie worked for Whelan Security of Illinois Inc. as their Manager of Security Services. His experience spreads over several different vertical markets, holding varied roles. 

Ernie served in the United States Navy for five years as a Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class, deploying in both the South American Region and South Arabian Gulf in support of the Operation Enduring Freedom(OEF-A). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University at Illinois in Chicago and a Masters of Applied Science degree in Security Management from the University of Denver.
