Bio: Michael Potter

Michael Potter is currently the President for Apex3 Systems. Mr. Potter holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Benedictine University.

He holds a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS International and is actively involved with ASIS International

Michael is currently serving as 1st Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Security Professionals Association®. As 1st Vice President, Michael also serves as a member of the ISPA Executive Committee. He serves as a member of the ASIS International Healthcare Security Council and Critical Infrastructure Working Group.

Prior Speaker for ASIS Pre-Seminar’s for Healthcare Council. Prior Vice Chair of ASIS International Illinois North Shore Chapter,and prior participant on the ASIS Strategic Planning Committee May 2018.

Mr. Potter also served on the Board of Directors, Private Sector for the LCRCIP, Lake-Cook Regional Critical Incident Partnership 2015-2017.

Mr. Potter holds Critical Incident Command Post and FEMA Emergency Management Institute certifications for Incident Command Systems and National Incident Management System (NIMS).
