Bio - Jill Reedy

Jill Reedy serves as the Regional Superintendent for the Macon/Piatt Regional Office of Education #39. With more than 28 years of experience in education, she has held roles as a teacher, principal, and district administrator. Jill has a strong focus on school safety and crisis preparedness, having led an innovative Regional Crisis Management and Reunification Team that includes ROE #39 school districts and area first responders. She also facilitates a Regional Postvention Flight Team composed of social workers, counselors, nurses, and community partners to support students and staff following critical incidents. Throughout her career, Jill has advanced trauma-informed practices, social-emotional learning, and truancy interventions, earning recognition for her collaborative leadership and commitment to student and educator success. She holds degrees from Illinois State University, Southwest Baptist University, and Eastern Illinois University.
