Bio - Michael Coutre

Mike Coutre’ started his career in 1984 working for a local Chicago company by the name of A&R Security Services. Starting as an unarmed security officer at a trucking terminal, Mike elevated into a field training supervisor position at A&R Security, to become the first unarmed, under the age of 21, field supervisor that the company had ever had up to the date of the creation of the company in 1967. Mike progressed into several leadership positions at A&R Security Services, Inc. eventually becoming an operational Vice President for a regional company. In 2012, Mike was brought on board by Universal Protection Service as a Midwest Regional Vice President. During this 3-year period, Mike was directly involved in the expansion of Universal Protection Services, a new provider in the Midwest market. Mike’s background and territory in the mid-west portfolio structure has earned Mike a respected reputation in the security industry. While Mike was growing in the contract security industry, he also developed his law enforcement experience. Starting as a police cadet in 1985 with the Village of Crestwood, Mike is now a current State of Illinois certified law enforcement officer currently holding the active rank of Detective Sergeant. His years of law enforcement experience and contacts has enabled him to be a valued asset to Allied Universal. Mike is a licensed security contractor and private detective who holds the licenses for Allied Universal Security Services in the State of Illinois. Mike serves on several different committees in the industry spanning between the private and public sectors within the State of Illinois.
