Bio Jason Sikora
Jason Sikora is a Security Professional with over 12 years of industry experience and currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development for SOS Security in Illinois (Formerly Premier Security and Apex3 Security). In his role, Jason is responsible for business development, marketing, sales, contract negotiation, strategic partnerships and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Prior to his current role, Jason served as Director of Security & Life Safety for properties ranging in size from 500,000 to 2 Million square feet in both Downtown Chicago and throughout the suburbs.
Jason has developed and maintained strong relationships with local law enforcement, government agencies and industry associations such as ASIS, BOMA and ISPA to stay abreast of the latest news and trends of the security industry.
In addition to his role as Treasurer for the Illinois Security Professionals Association, Jason is an active member of the Emergency Preparedness committees of both BOMA International and BOMA Suburban Chicago, as well as the Communications Committee for BOMA Chicago. He serves as the Young Professionals Liaison for the ASIS Chicago Chapter where he founded the highly successful networking and education group Young Professionals & Emerging Leaders in Security (YPELS). In 2018, he was selected as the Chair of the Host Committee for ASIS International’s 2019 Global Security Exchange where he coordinates local volunteer activities, philanthropic initiatives, and assists with logistical planning of the global conference hosted in Chicago in September of 2019.
Jason is a past recipient of the Chairman’s Award through the Illinois Security Professionals Association and is board certified in Security Management as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through the ASIS International Professional Certification Board.
