Bio - Peter Skiko J.D.

Pete Skiko is an equity partner at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP. Pete is a trial attorney, focusing his practice on commercial, employment and tort litigation.  In July of 2014, along with his partner Steve Fardy, Pete helped obtain a $61 million settlement on behalf of Business Logic Holding Corporation in complex computer software trade secret litigation against Ibbotson and Morningstar.  This represents the ninth largest-reported trade secret settlement in the country.

Pete is the head of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Employment Litigation and Counseling Practice Group, having delivered his thesis and received his Master of Laws degree in Labor and Employment Law from the John Marshall Law School of Atlanta. His practice includes litigating complex breach of contract and commercial fraud actions, defense of high-profile, national MDL/class actions, and defense of catastrophic loss claims. Pete’s clients stress his ability to uncover and develop themes and key facts through detailed investigation and his efficient, cost-effective practices.
