LARRY MILLER - BIO

Larry A. Miller currently acts as the Mid-Western Regional Security Manager for Cresco Labs, Inc. Cresco Labs is one of the largest multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis companies and the leading wholesaler of cannabis in the United States. Cresco operates in 10 states with 21 cultivation facilities and 50+ retail locations nationally and is continually expanding operations. Since joining Cresco in 2020, Larry has been charged with direct oversight of all security operations for both retail and cultivation facilities within the Midwest territory. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of corporate-wide security programs focused on facility security, emergency management, and access control. Additionally, the role requires oversight of security protocols and procedures to ensure strict regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal agencies. Lastly, Larry oversees vendor relationships and management of external security teams.

Larry holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and a B.A in Criminal Justice from Columbia University. Additionally, Larry is a graduate of the well-regarded School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University. Larry is a longstanding member of the International Association of Identification and maintains 2 certifications. He is one of only 900 Certified Latent Print Examiners globally and is also a Certified Crime Scene Investigator.

Prior to his position with Cresco Labs, Larry completed 29 years in law enforcement and retired as a Sergeant with the City of Evanston Police Department. During his law enforcement career, Larry held various roles to include; Supervisor of K-9 unit, Director of Honor Guard Detail, Gang/Crimes Detective, Lead Evidence Technician, Patrol Supervisor, and a proud investigative member of the Northeast Regional Major Crimes Task Force (NORTAF). Larry also filled various positions over the years in the Patrol Officers Union, to include President, Vice President, and Secretary.

Larry has a deep commitment to veteran’s organizations and has been an active volunteer for Honor Flight Chicago and the USO Canteen at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
